DevOps / CI Platform Engineer

Platform & Infrastructure:
• Design, configure, and operate cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
• Deploy and manage data‑oriented and backend applications on Kubernetes.
• Build scalable, sustainable enterprise solutions for software development and data processing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Crossplane, or similar tools.

CI/CD & Developer Experience
• Develop and maintain robust CI services using tools like Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, and in‑house systems.
• Support GitOps workflows using tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD.
• Provide expert‑level support to internal users and ensure high availability of CI/CD systems.
• Create clear documentation and self‑service capabilities for engineering teams.

Data Platform Engineering
• Contribute to the architecture and foundation of Volvo’s next‑generation data platform.
• Work with PaaS technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Support big‑data workloads, event streaming (Kafka, MQTT), and large‑scale processing frameworks (Spark, Ray).
• Ensure secure, reliable, and compliant data access and governance.

Collaboration & Operations
• Work closely with multiple teams across the organization to gather requirements and ensure seamless platform operations.
• Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack — from cloud infrastructure to compilation errors.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and PagerDuty.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
• Expertise in Python and/or C/C++.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and software development workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and GitOps methodologies.
• Advanced English skills
