Responsibilities:
- Development of Interior Components: Designing and developing parts such as dashboards, seats, door panels, center consoles, displays, and vehicle control elements.
- Integration of Infotainment Systems: Development and integration of multimedia
systems, navigation systems, climate control, and audio systems into the vehicle interior. - Ergonomics and User-Friendliness: Ensuring user-friendliness and comfort optimization of interior components (e.g., seat adjustment, control element operation).
- Materials and Manufacturing Technologies: Selecting and applying appropriate materials (e.g., plastics, leather, metals) and manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, 3D printing).
- CAD Design and Simulation: Creating 3D models of components and performing simulations to assess structural integrity and safety (FEM analysis, crash simulations).
- Ergonomic Design and Comfort: Designing ergonomic seating positions and control
elements to ensure comfortable usage. - Project Management: Coordinating and planning projects while adhering to timelines,
budgets, and quality standards. - Innovation and Technology: Applying new materials and technologies, including sustainable materials and smart vehicle technologies.
- Safety and Environmental Standards: Ensuring compliance with safety standards and
environmental regulations for vehicle interior components. - HCV interior commodities benchmark & piece price & tooling advantage ideas. (including Chinese benchmark vehicles)

Requirements:
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology, Industrial Design,
or a related field. - Strong knowledge of designing and developing automotive interiors.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge in manufacturing technologies and materials.
- Experience with simulations and FEM analysis.
- Strong understanding of ergonomic design and comfort.
- Team-oriented with experience in interdisciplinary project management.
- Creativity and innovation in developing new solutions.
- Excellent command of both German and English.
