We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Manager (a) to lead our team in the field of Special Lightweight Structures and Facades Engineering.
In this position you will play a crucial role in driving innovation, overseeing complex projects and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions in the realm of lightweight structures and facades. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding our team to achieve architectural excellence, maintain high-quality standards and contribute to the growth of our company's reputation in the industry.
You can expect these challenges:
- Provide strategic direction and architectural leadership in the design, development and implementation of special lightweight structures and facades projects
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of architects, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation
- Manage and oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Develop project plans, allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and advancements in lightweight structures and facades
- Utilise your in-depth knowledge of architectural principles, materials and construction methods to optimise designs for lightweight structures and facades
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development
- Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure that designs, calculations and deliverables adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and ensure project success
You will inspire us with this:
- University degree in Architecture or a related field with long-term professional experience
- Ideally sound experience in the field of lightweight structures and facades design, professional membership of recognised body, such as the RIBA or equivalent, is preferred
- Strong command of architectural software and design tools
- Previous experience in leading and mentoring architectural teams
- Empathic personality with excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and a creative approach to architectural challenges
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good knowledge of German and fluent English
