The Leibniz-Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften - ISAS - e. V. develops efficient analytical methods for health research. At our location in Dortmund, we invite applications for the Research Group Proteomics:

PhD Candidate (m/f/d) in phosphoproteomics

Your tasks:

  • Planning and performing proteome and phosphoproteome analyses as part of the DFG funded project: Identification and characterization of interferon γ-stimulated effector proteins and interferon γ-repressed dependency factors limiting cytomegalovirus replication
  • Continuous development of existing methods and procedures for use in the joint project
  • Documentation of laboratory work
  • Collaboration with other project partners and regular presentation of results

Your profile:

  • PhD degree in a scientific field (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics) or related subject
  • Experience in a laboratory environment, ideally in the field of bioanalytics
  • Strong communication skills, organisational talent and a solution-oriented way of working
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Willingness to travel on business
  • Very good written and spoken English; German an advantage
