Quality Control Supervisor (a)

As our Quality Control Supervisor (a), you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products and projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety and performance. You will work closely with the quality control team and collaborate with engineers, project managers and production staff to ensure that all products and processes adhere to established quality standards and guidelines.

You can expect these challenges:

  • Perform regular inspections of materials, components and finished products to verify compliance with specifications, industry standards and company quality guidelines
  • Conduct various tests on materials and components, such as tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and durability and analyse the results to identify potential quality issues
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of quality inspections, test results and non-conformance reports as well as ensure proper documentation of all quality-related activities
  • Monitor production processes to identify deviations from established quality standards and collaborate with production teams to address any quality concerns promptly
    • Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues and non-conformities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
    • Assist in providing training to production staff on quality control procedures, standards and best practices to enhance overall product quality
    • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure incoming materials and components meet the required quality standards as well as manage the evaluation and approval of new suppliers
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes, reduce defects and improve overall efficiency
    • Assist in conducting internal quality audits to ensure adherence to established quality management systems, identify opportunities for improvement and generate reports on quality performance

        You will inspire us with this:

        • University degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
        • Previous experience in quality control or a related field is a plus, relevant certifications in quality control are advantageous
        • Proficient in using quality testing equipment and tools
        • Basic knowledge of quality control principles, tools and methodologies
        • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
        • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
        • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
        • Ability to analyse data and generate clear, concise reports
        • Good German and fluent English skills
