What to expect:

Define and manage the electric drives test strategy, contributing to the overall test strategy of the electrical powertrain
Plan, define, execute, post-process, and evaluate tests for electric drives, from single electric motors and inverters to integrated, full-scale multi-engine, battery-powered systems
Define and implement test setups for electric engine validation and verification
Specify and plan test equipment and facility interfaces
Lead the mechanical, electrical, and thermal layout, implementation, and validation of test setups
Oversee all electric drive test campaigns and serve as the main contact for external test and lab personnel
Develop test plans, procedures, and reports, ensuring traceability of results to design requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on electric engine and system modeling, SiL, and HiL activities, identifying synergies to reduce risk, time, and cost
Ensure compliance with safety regulations for personnel, equipment, installations, and environmental standards

What you bring along:

MSc or equivalent degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field; qualified electrician certification is a plus
5+ years of experience in electric motor and/or inverter testing, technology, design, production, or modeling
Strong background in electric drives, ideally with experience in electric mobility
Excellent knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes, test management, measurement principles, and data acquisition
Established network with electric drive test labs, cell manufacturers, and researchers is beneficial
High motivation to establish and improve organizational structures and processes
Self-reliant, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Target-oriented and driven work style with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent English is essential
proficiency in German or other languages is an asset
