Sports for the Disabled 2027 in English

What to expect:

The postgraduate on-site study course at the Sports Science Faculty aims at coaches and PE teachers who are already occupied in the field of sports for people with disabilities or who wish to start working actively in this field. Participants of the ITK course Sports for the Disabled will learn to apply indication-specific training methods, to integrate current developments in Para sports into their training and to develop their own concepts for sports for people with disabilities, based on their knowledge.

Am I eligible to apply?

If you like to apply for one of our courses, you should meet the following requirements:  

1. Permanent residence in a developing country as defined by the DAC list of ODA recipients
2. An academic degree in in the field of sports
3. Several years of experience in sports in the field of the chosen type of sport or specialisation (lecturing, training, counselling, coordination)
4. Personal experience as an active athlete in your chosen type of sport
5. Mastery of the course language or German in speech and writing
6. Physical and mental eligibility
7. Maximum 40 years of age
