The Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior at its sites in Konstanz and Radolfzell offers an international, interdisciplinary, and cooperative environment that opens up unique research opportunities. The goal of our basic research is to develop a quantitative and predictive understanding of the decisions and movements of animals in their natural environment.

We are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible.The workplace will be primarily in Konstanz.

Student Assistant (m/f/d) to support
international researchers (Welcome Office)

Working hours: up to 40 hours/month, with an availability of at least 6 - 12 months.

Your tasks:

  • Support in the search for accommodations - forwarding current offers; joining researchers at viewings
  • Advising international researchers on the topic of living in Konstanz
  • Arranging accommodation between landlords and researchers
  • Establish and maintain contact with landlords (in German) and with international researchers (in English)
  • Organising social activities for international researchers

Your profile

  • Good command of English - customer service
  • Interest in supporting intrernational researchers
  • Structured, independent and reliable working methods
  • Enrolment at a German university
