Exterior Designer in the Automotive Sector *Türkiye*

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop exterior vehicle components (bodywork, doors, bumpers, etc.)
• Perform structural analyses and simulations to assess crash safety, stiffness, and weight
  characteristics
• Optimize vehicle form and aerodynamics using fluid dynamics and CFD software
• Utilize advanced CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks) to model vehicle components
• Conduct crash simulations and safety analyses to comply with safety standards (e.g.,
  Euro NCAP, IIHS)
• Select and apply appropriate materials such as aluminum, CFRP, and plastic for lightweight and safe exterior parts
• Collaborate with other departments like mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality
  assurance, and marketing
• Develop prototypes and conduct tests to validate design properties (e.g., crash tests, aerodynamics tests, durability tests)
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF
  16949)

Requirements:

• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of vehicle engineering, body construction, and aerodynamics
• Experience with CAD software and modeling vehicle components
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as injection molding, metal forming, laser cutting, and 3D printing
• Experience with composite materials and materials for exterior vehicle parts
• Knowledge of crash simulations and safety standards in the automotive sector
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage projects
• Experience in creating technical documentation and delivering presentations
• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in the automotive industry, including
  sustainable materials and innovative vehicle technologies

As an Exterior Designer in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for the design and development of the outer components of a vehicle, including the body, front and rear sections, doors, roof, bumpers, and other external parts. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, design, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
