- Design and develop wiring harnesses forming part of the vehicle’s galvanic electrical structure.
- Mechanically route and connect electrical components using wiring bundles, ensuring compliance with electrical, EMC and mechanical requirements.
- Develop virtual harness models and produce corresponding 2D/3D drawings for specification.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturability, quality and correct implementation of harnesses.
- Verify harness functionality and robustness through design reviews, test object builds and integration activities.
- Support continuous improvements in tools, methods and processes within the team.
- Contribute to prototype builds, bench/rig preparations and integration testing activities in an agile setting.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
- Proven competence in mechanical installation design, materials used in electrical distribution systems and understanding of harness complexity.
- Experience developing harnesses supporting specific vehicle functions, from concept to delivery.

CATIA V5, including Electrical Workbench, Teamcenter, KDP and TCPLM, Planisware, Wiring Harness Design workflows and methodologies

Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and balance design, manufacturing and electrical requirements.

Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with continuous improvements and integration of design and testing workflows.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Gothenburg location and candidates must hold valid work authorization in Sweden.
